Called for a tow when I blew my tire, they quoted me 45 minutes and was there within the half hour. Super kind and helpful when I was obviously not having a great night and helped immensely. 10/10 would recommend :)

Giving a five star specifically on their towing service. Connected with them through Geico, since I have Emergency Roadside Assistance, and wasn't told by Geico who the towing company was. Got a follow up call minutes after hanging up with Geico, from Dansen's dispatcher that estimated time of arrival time would be approximately three hours. Now I don't mind the three hours because, Geico already set that expectation with me prior to receiving the call from dispatcher. Prior to the arrival of the tow truck, Bobby kept constant communication with me as to how long more it will take for him to arrive on the scene. Really appreciated that, as I can imagine that most people will be aggravated. The cool part was, I figured out that he had an iPhone due to the fact that I plugged his number in Messages on my iPhone and it turned blue lol. And since my vehicle wasn't at a exact location or address, I sent him my location via iMessage. Fortunate for me, I was close to home when my vehicle broke down, So it was no problem to walk back-and-forth from home and to the vehicle. Upon arriving to the scene, Bobby checked to see how I was doing and asked if I might know what could have been the issue. After narrowing it down to the alternator, we finally got my vehicle to the repair shop. What made it cool is Bobby was personable. I would choose them again. Just feel bad that I live all the way in town, and they're all the way in Waianae. Oh! And I love the fact they're pretty up to date with technology. They use an app to communicate and keep a history of their tows. If I can suggest to Dansen, check out the app called Service M8!! Seriously. I think you folks might like it. I don't work for them, but I work for a tech company, and Service M8 is legit for companies that do troubleshoots, tow trucking services, etc. Dansen, if you guys are really into technology like the app that you folks use, you're going to like Service M8

This is a family oriented repair shop and you feel welcomed. From small items to major items that need to be resolved you get answers and from there can determine your next course of action. 3 times was no charge for diagnostic situations and they have even helped in putting on a new tube and reinstalling the tire for my Rock N Roller cart. It's not easy and there was no charge. It's a good thing to have that kind of aloha.

I have lived and worked in Makaha for 16 years and taken my 2000 Honda CRV to Dansen's for routine stuff like oil changes, tune-ups, tire rotations, alignments and also whenever something broke, which in an old car, is often. They were always fair and explained to me what they were doing. This last couple months they changed my timing belt (long overdue) and all that comes with doing that, and adjusted my valves due to engine light coming on. They also fixed an issue with my steering that was driving me crazy. Oh hell, then my engine light came on again though my car was running great again... I took it right in. Dansen himself came out, tested it, ran a code check and inspected my car for emissions issues, all for FREE and got the ok, engine light is off. I told him my driver's side inside door handle busted off and cut my finger and could he give me an estimate on installing the part as I had ordered it already. He installed it in 20 minutes for FREE! Now this is truly excellent customer service and I will remain a loyal customer as I have been for many years. By the way, I am a 57 year old white woman, so despite those other reviews that they discriminate, I have not in 16 years felt my color made any difference to these fine folks. Love Dansens!

I found the staff very friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. They finished my truck a head of promised time. Truly a (5) star rating from me. Would I go back or recommend them for future visits to a friend? Absolutely!!! 100% Can you smell what The Rock is cooking?

Call Danson towing for a tow and they were very fast and professional. Braddah Mike was da tow man and it was really fast.. I was only waiting 15mins... it was really easy and fast... Thank you so much.

I don't know about the auto repair, but I got a tow from Keoni and he took such great care of me! I will definitely call and ask for him specifically if I should ever need one again!!

Thank you Mike from Dansens Towing for rescuing our daughters today when their car broke down. Mom was at the dentist and dad was on the mainland and Mike picked them up and the car too and dropped them off at Wally Ho's where mom met them and thanked Mike. Outstanding job and easy to see why you are a USAA certified towing company!

I've been taking my vehicles to Dansens at least 15 years, I trust them to do their best, It's Dansens name on the sign I know it's important to him a job is done right, it seems to be a mutual feeling as far as his staff goes as well, that makes me feel good having folks who have self respect taking care of me and my family's transportation, I gave 4 stars out of five to leave room for growing something we all need , I don't give 4 stars lightly, it has been my experience with Dansens and his staff that required 4 stars given, Mahalo nui loa to all of the DANSEN staff!:) Mrs.Haley

I brought my Honda S2000 (AP1) here with a suspicion of a clutch or transmission issue making noises. The front desk woman "Kalena" was very kind & the paperwork to fill out wasn't pages long, so that's a good thing right? "Brett" the mechanic took my car for a ride & after the test drive "Brett" approached me while I was sitting outside on the benches & talked to me a little about the issues he noticed that included my main problem & some other problems he found out about the suspension & a few other things that I knew were a problem but was not one of my main priorities at the time. I have to give it to him, He named all of the problems I suspected & then a few more that I was not aware of. He knew what he was talking about & I would say he is very knowledgeable in what he does to feel out all those problems which were obvious & some more subtle with just a short drive in my car. "Brett" is the man! & hes really cool & easy going & his customer service is great. I waited "about" 1-2 hours in their waiting room while the mechanic test drove & examined my car, I did not expect it to any sooner as this wasn't no easy task. The waiting room is comfortable with A/C , TV & a lot of cool memorabilia & other certifications & awards hanging on the wall along with some other decorations, it all added to the cool factor of being there. :D After waiting "Kalena" the Receptionist kindly walked into the waiting room & explained to me that they could not diagnose the problem & they recommend that I take it to my Honda dealer to have it checked out, Which again, was what I was anticipating before I went there, But I thought maybe I'd get lucky, Nope, Not with my luck. Lol However, "Kalena" told me that there was no monetary charge & I was shocked, they're all there working & taking time out of their day to take a look at my car, I thought they should be compensated for the work. I asked again to reassure I heard her correctly & sure enough, No service charge she explained, They couldn't find the issue. ...Cool. I enjoyed the service here & I really appreciated the customer service above all else that I was shown. I will bring my car here again for sure for my servicing needs and whatever else they offer. I love to support businesses in my community & Dansen's Auto Repair & Staff makes it very easy to be a returning customer. Thanks for the great Customer Service. Big Mahalo to Kalena & Brett!
