I've been taking my vehicles to Dansens at least 15 years, I trust them to do their best, It's Dansens name on the sign I know it's important to him a job is done right, it seems to be a mutual feeling as far as his staff goes as well, that makes me feel good having folks who have self respect taking care of me and my family's transportation, I gave 4 stars out of five to leave room for growing something we all need , I don't give 4 stars lightly, it has been my experience with Dansens and his staff that required 4 stars given, Mahalo nui loa to all of the DANSEN staff!:) Mrs.Haley

I brought my Honda S2000 (AP1) here with a suspicion of a clutch or transmission issue making noises. The front desk woman "Kalena" was very kind & the paperwork to fill out wasn't pages long, so that's a good thing right? "Brett" the mechanic took my car for a ride & after the test drive "Brett" approached me while I was sitting outside on the benches & talked to me a little about the issues he noticed that included my main problem & some other problems he found out about the suspension & a few other things that I knew were a problem but was not one of my main priorities at the time. I have to give it to him, He named all of the problems I suspected & then a few more that I was not aware of. He knew what he was talking about & I would say he is very knowledgeable in what he does to feel out all those problems which were obvious & some more subtle with just a short drive in my car. "Brett" is the man! & hes really cool & easy going & his customer service is great. I waited "about" 1-2 hours in their waiting room while the mechanic test drove & examined my car, I did not expect it to any sooner as this wasn't no easy task. The waiting room is comfortable with A/C , TV & a lot of cool memorabilia & other certifications & awards hanging on the wall along with some other decorations, it all added to the cool factor of being there. :D After waiting "Kalena" the Receptionist kindly walked into the waiting room & explained to me that they could not diagnose the problem & they recommend that I take it to my Honda dealer to have it checked out, Which again, was what I was anticipating before I went there, But I thought maybe I'd get lucky, Nope, Not with my luck. Lol However, "Kalena" told me that there was no monetary charge & I was shocked, they're all there working & taking time out of their day to take a look at my car, I thought they should be compensated for the work. I asked again to reassure I heard her correctly & sure enough, No service charge she explained, They couldn't find the issue. ...Cool. I enjoyed the service here & I really appreciated the customer service above all else that I was shown. I will bring my car here again for sure for my servicing needs and whatever else they offer. I love to support businesses in my community & Dansen's Auto Repair & Staff makes it very easy to be a returning customer. Thanks for the great Customer Service. Big Mahalo to Kalena & Brett!

Great service when I needed my car towed before going to the airport. Keoni came very quickly so I could make my flight 15 minutes before boarding closed.

Outstanding service!! Being new to the waianae cost my first encounter with Dansen's Auto Repair was about a year ago. My shocks and spindle broke and I also needed a complete brake job done on my '04 dodge 1500. The day this had happened I drove straight to Dansen's not knowing what it would be like. I guess you could say I was walking in blind. I didn't know anything about them I've never heard of them before but it was the closest place around. So being that I was walking into this blind all I could think about was Oh My Gosh! This job is going to take couple of days. They have to order the parts and take off the old ones and put the new one on. Also I tot to myself its alot to do so its gonna be very expensive. I cant believe how Dansen's Auto Repair has change my whole outlook on the Auto Repair business. I've never had great customer service at an auto repair shop ever. I went into Dansen's Auto Repair having no appointment and they looked very busy to me. I told them what kind of noise my truck was making and what was going on. They then took the truck lift it up and showed me what was going on with my truck. We talked and they walked me through everything that they would have to fix and order and how long it would be. I had explained to them that I needed the truck back the same day because my wife had taken our car to work and I needed to pick my kids up from school. I was very surprise when the response was " We can have that done for you". Not only was my parts ordered and brought into the repair shop the same day but my truck was taken care of that same day. I was very surprise as busy as they where they managed to get a team together and get my truck done as soon as they did. So one of my worries was gone but I still had one on my mind. I'm no mechanic so what seemed like alot to me was also going to cost alot for me. Once again did Dansen's Auto change my whole outlook. I've been to other Repair shops and got ripped off and they did a horrible job. So I tot for sure this was going to be very expensive but to my suprise it was way less then what I have expected. They didn't have any hidden fee's or extra charge's. They wasn't trying to sell me anything or add on any other service's. They was stright to the point in letting me know what was wrong with my truck and stright to the point in getting it fix. So im here to say that about a year now my truck is still in awsome condition and ever since that day i've taken all my vehicles and my families vehicles to Dansen's Auto Repair. Yesterday I had taken my mother in laws chevy S-10 to get the safety done and once again like always the customer severvice was awsome. Thank you Dansen's Auto Repair and I totally look forward to doing business with you guys again in the future.

My check engine lamp came on and I asked around for a honest mechanic. They were booked up and I had to wait for a day before they could see me, but as I called other mechanics I realized one day wait was pretty quick. They were really honest when they tool a look and did not try to pull a fast one. Their oil change prices seemed pretty competitive as well.
